  9. No, the dual-power rack chasis has two slots for power supply unit. The chasis
  10. and backplane are both different. The RP-2000 dual power supply unit is also
  11. different from previous single power supply unit.

  14. Is U-1496P using 1M EPROM?

  18. ZyXEL develops one unique version of firmware for U-1496P model. The firmware
  19. code has a C suffix, such as RM620C.U12,  and RM620C.U13.

  21. The U-1496P is equipped with 1M bit 29F series 5V only Flash EPROM chips.

  23. Q-3: How to modify U-1496 modem to accomodate 2M bit EPROM's ?

  79. Holding the " ENTER " key down for a few seconds while powering up will reset
  80. the modem. The  LCD display will show " Loading default ".

  84. Holding the " VOICE/DATA " key down for a few seconds while powering up the
  85. modem will reset the modem. The modem will also run continuous analog loopback
  86. self-test. Printable characters will be shown on the terminal connected to the
  87. modem's RS232 port. The HS,CD,DSR,CTS,RXD,EC,SQ and TST LEDs should be ON.

  91. Short the TS2 jumper with a plug then power up the computer. The modem will
  92. be reset and will continuously run self-test. Printable characters will be
  93. shown on the computer screen. The TS1 LED should be continuously ON.

  96.       is pushed?
